Keramikmarkt Basel Spring 2026

This spring we are staying true to our principle and take part in Basel's most important ceramics event again with two tables – one for Susanne's and one for Stephan's work. The last pieces come fresh from the kiln and are ready just in time for the market. We are present with vases, cups, bowls and plates & saucers. We would like to thank the visitors for the many positive and warm reactions!

Blickfang Basel

Blickfang Basel is always worth a visit for design enthusiasts. We're participating again with our 6-meter booth and showcasing our latest pieces. Susanne's booth features slender porcelain vases and large, hand-built vessels made of black clay. Stephan's focus is on medium-sized vases with textured surfaces and overlapping glaze layers. We're also exhibiting small series of drinking vessels, bowls, and plates.

DesignSchenken Luzern

With the DesignSchenken event in Emmenbrücke near Lucerne, we are venturing into uncharted territory in Central Switzerland. We are thoroughly enjoying the subdued, pre-Christmas atmosphere and the friendly, curious, and chatty people of Lucerne. We certainly feel very welcome here – and are clearly appreciated by many visitors as newcomers!

Ramstein Optik Basel

For the second time, we're having the opportunity to display our latest work in the window of Ramstein Optik for two weeks. Interestingly, it's precisely the experimental, "wild" ceramics that are selling best. Clearly, it's enthusiasts of unique ceramics who are taking notice of us. We think it's fantastic that Ramstein offers local artists such a platform.

Keramikpanorama Murten 2025

Every two years, Switzerland's largest ceramics market, "Keramikpanorama," takes place in Murten. We are delighted to be represented with our stand again this year. This time, we will primarily be showcasing works by Stephan. With over 100 exhibitors, Keramikpanorama offers an overview of the current work of the Swiss ceramics scene, and the town of Murten, with its venue on the Pantschau directly on the lake, is idyllic and well worth a visit.

Keramikmarkt Basel

We try to participate in the Basel Ceramics Market at least once a year. This May, we'll be there for the first time with two tables. Our production has grown so extensively that we can now occupy one table each. Furthermore, our unique methods have resulted in such distinctive styles that splitting the work between two tables makes perfect sense.

Blickfang Basel 2025

This spring, we're once again participating in Blickfang Basel, this time with a new booth concept. We're displaying our ceramics on and in a long shelf directly along the wall, instead of on tables as before. The new concept feels airy and uncluttered, which is clearly very much appreciated by visitors. We've brought along many bowls and cups, but are also showing larger pieces. Our color palette is very understated, featuring nuanced shades of black and porcelain white.

Blickfang Zürich 2024

After our extremely positive experience with Blickfang Basel, we're trying our luck at Blickfang Zurich this fall. Everything here is a bit bigger – the numerous labels guarantee visitors a diverse range of offerings, which makes the event very attractive for exhibitors as well – and this is reflected in the visitor numbers. We're exhibiting primarily Susanne's work. The only downside is that the many contacts we're making here in Zurich are only resulting in a few visits and follow-up commissions at our Basel studio.

Ramstein Optik, Basel

The long-established Basel company at Sattelgasse 4 regularly offers local artists a generous exhibition platform for their work. We have been given the opportunity to display our ceramics on a large table in the shop window for a whole month. In addition to smaller vessels, we are also showing larger vases and ikebana bowls. We are very grateful to Ramstein Optik for this opportunity!

Blickfang Basel 2024

Our first participation in the "Blickfang" design fair was a resounding success. Our stand at the end of the aisle offered ample space for our ceramics and was easily visible from three sides. We made many contacts with ceramic enthusiasts from the region and subsequently recorded numerous visits and orders at our shop at Felsplattenstrasse.

Schöne Bescherung

The organizers of Blickfang launched a unique trial run with the event "Schöne Bescherung". The pre-Christmas event competed with other "classic" Christmas markets in the region and met with only moderate success.

Keramikmarkt Basel Autumn 2023

Our third participation in Basel just before Christmas leaves us with mixed feelings. While one of us is selling his ceramics very well, the other's pieces aren't in high demand. We've observed this phenomenon of our work attracting unequal interest before, but it's never been this pronounced. For our duo, this requires a certain amount of frustration tolerance.

Ceramic Panorama Murten 2023

The Keramikpanorama in Murten is one of the most important events in the Swiss ceramics scene. With around 100 exhibitors from Switzerland and Europe, the market offers a truly panoramic view of ceramic creation. Since the event only takes place every two years and participation is curated, we, as newcomers, initially didn't have high hopes, but in the end, we made the cut and were able to participate with two tables. The many conversations and positive feedback from visitors and exhibitors are extremely motivating for us!

FineFood Market Basel

By participating in the FineFood Market, we're taking a wildcard approach. Would selling ceramics even work at a food-focused event? It turns out that a special event is taking place right next door – also featuring culinary specialties and even ceramics. Unfortunately, this event turns out to be a flop for many participants. But that's an experience you have to go through!

Keramikmarkt Basel Autumn 2022

This is our second market after a productive six-month interlude. We're arriving with some new products and our pieces are also more expertly crafted, and the first themes, materials, and techniques that we'll continue to explore in the coming years are beginning to emerge in our work. Susanne is exhibiting carved porcelain and nerikomi vessels. Stephan is primarily showing stoneware ceramics with multi-layered, dark glazes.

Keramikmarkt Basel Spring 2022

This is our first time participating in a ceramics market after (only) two years of intensive experimentation with ceramics and attending numerous practical courses. Are we good enough for this occasion? Can expression, character, and creativity be discerned in our work? Does our craftsmanship meet expectations? We are delighted to have received such a warm welcome from the organizers and the other exhibitors!
